Georgian Culinary Academythe engineering behind a professional kitchen

Climate control in a professional kitchen is a great deal more than holding a target temperature.

Georgian Culinary Academy
Facility: Georgian Culinary Academy - Tbilisi

High thermal loads, steam, odour, an intense working process and people moving through the space constantly create an environment in which heating, cooling and ventilation have to work as one precisely calculated system.

The solution

For the Georgian Culinary Academy, Biomi Holding designed the heating, cooling and ventilation systems around the function of the space, its loads and the daily working process.

The aim was a microclimate appropriate to a professional teaching environment, effective air exchange, and systems that work properly across spaces of differing purpose.

This is Biomi Holding's approach to every project - not fitting a standard solution to a space, but building the engineering out of what the space needs.
