Project specifics
The work covered the university's lecture halls, research laboratories, veterinary clinic and culinary academy, as well as its teaching and examination spaces. The purpose and function of each one set its own specific requirements for the HVAC systems.
The projects were carried out at different times, so each stage meant reconciling the needs of a particular space with the university's existing engineering infrastructure.
The solution
Biomi Holding designed and installed the heating, cooling and ventilation systems to suit each space's function, technical parameters and loads. The heating system uses RTQ 2S series steel pressure boilers from the Italian premium brand RIELLO, fitted with the same brand's RS series two-stage progressive gas burners. The engineering solutions were defined individually and carried out in line with the university's existing infrastructure.
Another stage of the partnership that began in 2008 was the reconstruction of the heating and cooling systems in the university library, which involved renewing the existing engineering infrastructure and bringing it into line with the needs of the space.
